Hey all,
I have been always loving my nudes and neutrals as I always incorporate them into my outfits. I love love love nudes, beige, whites and every shade in between. I just found out that I actually have so many of those shades in my wardrobe especially tops and outwear but, hey, I love me some more!
I feel that those colors and shades make me happy, positive, relaxed and confident. They are so classy and chic, they make you feel like million bucks. Spring is at the corner in Paris and I am super excited that I will be able to wear those shades every single day. Style them with brights, bold colors and other neutrals and you will look very sophisticated, I promise!
Now, on to my Chanel brooch story if it is to be called a story. I make wishlists of things I want to buy this year especially when it comes to expensive items such as bags, shoes, accessories or even clothing. I make a wishlist, calculate how much many I should save and my time frame of when I can buy it.. It's very helpful and you should try it. I will be soon making a post on how to buy high-end expensive items, when to invest and how to buy without feeling guilty that you spent a lot of money. Keep your eyes on this soon to be published post! Back to Chanel, as the brooch was on my wishlist, I started searching prices, deals and designs. I went on to Chanel's website to see how much the brooches are and I felt that they might be reasonably priced if the size is quite big which I couldn't really know from the picture they have and the measurements because I prefer seeing it in person.
The Story:
I went with my mom to Bon Marché which is a shopping center in Paris, we really like to shop there as it is not as crowded as Galaries Lafayette so we feel more relaxed there. I saw Chanel there and I asked my mom if we could enter to ask for the prices and see their brooches. We waited in the line and then a nice SA came and helped us. He showed us many options but I was looking for a CC Brooch that is plain gold, unfortunately, they didn't have. I then picked a Brooch that is CC with pearls and I liked it a lot. I thought that will match many of my vest, jackets and tops in general plus I love pearls so it was good match for me. I was quite surprised that some of their jewelry are not with the highest quality and perfection which you would expect from such a fashion house and high prices. When I picked the brooch, I didn't think about the price but when I saw the other jewelry they displayed, some of them, I wouldn't buy them with 100 Euros. Sorry to say this as I love Chanel but their prices are going over board, in my opinion this should be changed. My mom wasn't as happy and satisfied as I am because of the prices.
My mom always needs a lot of pressure from my sister and I to go and buy expensive items as she says they are a waste of money (my dad also) but, my sister and I, are the ones who spend the most and we aren't proud of it but we are so far happy and it's such a pleasing adventure for us.
To my outfit of the day, I am wearing:
- H&M Top
- Mango Jacket
- Zara Jeans
- Chanel Brooch
- Forever21 faux pearl Earrings and Ring
- Via Moda Flats
I hope you enjoyed the 'story' and mini review about Chanel jewelry. Let me know if you liked my outfit or if you make wishlists as I do. Always happy to communicate with you on any of my social media accounts!
Love xoxo,
Maha
