My Bedtime Routine!! + Reviews

Hey all,

Today I will be talking about my Bedtime Routine from Skin Care to Everything I do before I sleep! As for my skin care routine, those products that I will talk about were prescribed by my dermatologist so I highly recommend you go to a dermatologist and she/he will recommend the right skin care products for you. If you are currently using the same products or you used some before, let me know in the comment section below because I would love to read your opinion. If you have anything that you swear by and love so much, let me know too so I can try and test it!

So let's Begin:

1. I always wear the comfiest pajamas I have and they're usually the oldest I ever had... It's funny but they're actually so comfy and cozy! I would like to know who does the same and wears old comfy pajamas?! For me, when I go and buy new pajamas, it's very hard for me to get used to wearing them but you know sometimes cute pajamas are worth wearing at night! In your own bedroom, you can be who ever you want to be and wear whatever you want to wear, wear cute pajamas, night gowns, old sweaters, cardigans and pants, that's all up to you.. The most important is that you are comfy in your sleep!

2. I brush my teeth for about 40 seconds to 60 seconds with my Oral-B 'Pro-Expert Tooth Paste', as mentioned in their website: this toothpaste "contains a Poly-fluorite System consisting of an antibacterial fluoride and Active Clean Crystals to provide a unique cleaning sensation." This is actually one of the good toothpastes I ever used, not my favorite but I will keep using it until the tube has nothing in it.. It prevents cavities, plaque, tartar, enamel erosion and gum problems, build increasing protection against painful sensitivity, whiten teeth by removing surface stains and it freshens the breath. Now, the things that I noticed that I actually didn't have gum problems and no painful sensitivity which I actually suffer from occasionally so I am happy about this part. Anything that this toothbrush prevents, 100 other ones do the same so I don't really care about this. Unfortunately, my original teeth color is slightly off-white by birth, so even if I whiten my teeth or use whitening toothpastes, it won't really going to make me have super white teeth but make sure to deep clean your teeth at your dentist every six months and when I do so, it's an amazing feeling of new clean teeth and slightly white although I don't really like going to the dentist I am a brave woman unlike my sister who makes a scene each time she's there... Hahaha

 3. Next, I wash my face with Uriage HYSEAC 'Cleansing Gel' for combination to oily skin types, it cleanses and purifies your skin and leaves it super fresh. I really like this product and it works instantly, I found a change in my skin after using it couple of times. It's Soap free and easy to rinse and very gentle on your face. It can be used for your face as well as your body. All what you have to do is take a small amount of it, lather it in your hands and apply it on a moistened wet face and then I like to massage my face with it for 10 seconds then rinse it off. I highly recommend it!

4. Afterwards, I apply Bioderma 'White Objective Lightening Serum' which is an intense night care product that evens and illuminates the complexion plus it is anti-brown marks  which is great for me because I have brown marks around my cheek and it helped it to lighten it and fades it slightly. It comes with Vitamin C powder which you add to the serum and shake then you start to use it, and this is very good to your skin to nourish it. I apply it as it is marked in the instruction, on my face and neck but you have to avoid your eyes area. Your skin should completely clean and that's why I applied it after my cleansing gel. I think that you have to only apply it at night time.

5. I keep my serum for about 3 to 5 minutes on, then I use Estee Lauder 'Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme and Eye Balm' that I got as an offer from Sephora when I bought the Estee Lauder Holiday Makeup Kit. Anyways, I am testing it out and so far I am liking it. I don't use Anti-Aging products because I am only 20 Years old so I still don't have wrinkles. On my forehand, I have fine lines because of lifting it a lot when I concentrate or stress out so I apply more on my forehead and I feel that it kind of working in erasing those fine lines. Did you try it already? Do you like it and found a change?

6. Christian Dior 'Creme de Rose' smoothing plumping Lip Balm is one of my Holy Grail Lip Product!!! I am loving it and it really does smooth my plumps the lips especially my sister's lips. It usually plumps my lower lips more than the other upper one but it smells really good and it works really well. I love it and recommend it highly highly highly!!! It retails for 25.50 Euros in Sephora.

7. Optional: when I break out and get those ugly huge spots on my face, my dermatologist gave me Avene 'TriAcneal Skincare, skin imperfections and residual marks cream' this is used for acne prone skin and works very fast in drying and minimizing the size of your pimple. It works very well on me! This is as well supposed to only be used at night but honestly I use it in the day but definitely won't project my under the sun because it's not good. Avoid contacting it around your eyes and lips because it's a strong cream and your eyes are and lip area tend to be sensitive so take care of that. Make sure to only apply it straight on your pimple and all of your face.. Your face might get irritated and you don't want that!

I hope you enjoyed my Bed Time Routine and that it helped you or motivated you to make a routine of taking care of your skin before you sleep. You should always moisturize your skin before bedtime and keep it hydrated by drinking LOTS of water!!

Love xoxo,

Maha
