Summer is always the awaited season to bring out the white dresses from our closet and wear gladiator sandals, tan and enjoy our life. But sun tanning is harmful and we need to take care of our skin so it can remain healthy and also take our daily vitamin D shot from the sun without burning our skin. To protect our skin from the UV light, I am providing you my essentials that actually saved me from a sunburn in Dead Sea few weeks ago. 

Here are my Essentials that I would give A+ but make sure you apply them every 30 to 45 minutes for best results:

Summer SPF Essentials! + Reviews

Hey all,

Summer is around the corner and we will be tanning, going to the beach, going out more and enjoying the sun and weather but, before we do so, we should take care of our skin and protect it from the UV light. This means applying sunscreen that has SPF 20 and more.

Today, I will share with you my sunscreens:

1. Face:
Bioderma Photoderm Max SPF 50+ cream that has very high protection, it's good for sensitive skin, it has invisible texture and fragrance free, paraben free and water resistant. Every year, I tend to try new face sunscreen and this year I chose Bioderma because it's a very good brand. I started applying this since the beginning of spring because I get a tan very easily and I don't like that a lot so I tend to protect my skin earlier. Usually, in fall and winter I apply SPF 20 but in spring and summer, I am all about 50+!

2. Lips:
Labello Sun Protect SPF 30 lip balm that is waterproof too. Don't neglect your lips because they get effected by the sun too and can be burned so you need a layer of protection that moisturizes your lips too. Labello lip balms have been my favorite lip balms since I was 10 years old although I never mentioned them here on my blog. I highly recommend them.

3. Hair:
Clarins Sun Care Oil Spray 30. It is for hair and body but I will use it for my hair only. I still didn't try it but I remember back in 2010, I was on vacation with my siblings and my uncle and he had an oil spray for the hair that protects and hydrate your hair. I still remember how amazing it was and how it left my hair with nice beachy waves. Unfortunately, I don't know the name but I hope that this one will be as good as my uncle's. I will update this post when I will start using this spray.

4. Body:
Nivea 50+ hydrating and protecting cream was there for me for the past ten years. I only use this as my body sunscreen and I try new ones but I go back to this one always. It's really good, thick, hydrating and water resistant. I recommend it!

5. Eyes:
Well, there is no sunscreen for eyes but there are surely many fashionable and stylish sunglasses that you can rock everyday. I am currently in love with my Ray Ban blue flash lenses aviators. I might buy the orange one soon so I can share them with my brother. Go get you a trendy affordable but high quality ones now to protect your beautiful eyes! ;)

Review: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick Balms (Balm Stains, Matte Balm, Lacquer Balms)

Everyone raved about these lipsticks and I am one of these people who did. I included them in my monthly favorites and I almost use them all the time. One loyal lover of these lipsticks is my sister Mariam, she pretty much has all the shades but today I will show you my own small collection. When it comes to new lipsticks, I gravitate towards pinks and nudes more than oranges and reds because I am very picky about these shades so, my safe options are pink and nudes.

The first balms that came out were called 'Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains' and they were a hit in the makeup world especially drugstore. Then recently, Revlon came up with two types of Colorburst lip balms; the Lacquer Balms and the Matte Balms.

I love every single lip product I have and can't go out without putting anything on my lips even if it was a lip balm! Urban Decay 'Naked 3' Palette Review and My Story!

Hey all,

Today I will be talking about Urban Decay's "Naked 3" Palette that everyone went crazy about it and was out of stock from Sephora and other stores for a while especially during the Christmas time after its launch. My sister Mariam and I were crazy searching in all Sephora's stores in Paris for this palette especially that we didn't try the first and second palette. In Sephora's website, you can see where there is stock for a specific beauty product and we found that some close stores had them in stock but when we went there, we couldn't find them and the sales associates informed us that they will relaunch them in February. My sister and I were quite upset as we wanted to be from the first ones to try it out. Later, I had a business trip to Dubai and one day my sister calls me and says "please check Sephora, maybe they have the Naked 3 palette", I didn't even think about it there but the minute she told me I ran to the closest Sephora and straight to Urban Decay counter and found five to six palettes staring at me!! I ran grabbed two without even looking and observing closely the shades of the shadows displayed! While I am checking out, I get struck by the expensive prices they have in Dubai... I have to pay 10 Euros extra?!! But I courageously paid those extra 10 Euros for each palette.. It may sound stupid for you but I already think that it is stupid for me and my sister to be crazy and silly about an eye shadow palette! Anyways, I go back to Paris and play and swatch the shadows, the next day, I visit a Sephora store near our home and I see bunch of Naked 3 palettes staring at my sister and I and we felt guilty about our purchase and laughed about our story and craziness... C'est la vie...

Winter Beauty Essentials!

It's December and Christmas preparations just started.. The weather is getting colder and our skin is getting drier. We are more likely to neglect ourselves from styling point of view as well as the beauty one. Honestly, I am barely getting out of my house, in Paris it's getting really cold and I am just lazy to dress up, put make up on and enjoy life. But, while I am writing this post, I made a decision to take care of myself and my skin, dress up and put more makeup and nail polish because then I, and if you too do so, will feel pampered and simply a diva!

تعد الصيغ غير اللامعة سلاحاً ذو حدين بالنسبة لأحمر الشفاه، إذا تم وضعه بشكل صحيح سيبدو مظهرك أنيقاًتت ومميزاً وستظهرين جمال شكل شفتيك الطبيعي، أما إذا وضعته بشكل خاطيء ستصبح الشفاه متشققة وغير متناغمة. إن صيغ أحمر الشفاه اللامعة، الكريمية والملساء تحتوي علي مطريات ومكونات أخري لها فائدة كبيرة خاصة بترطيب الشفاه وإظهارها بشكل أنعم، ولكن الصيغة غير اللامعة ليس بها كل تلك المكونات المنعمة، لذا فهي تمثل صعوبة عند وضعها، حيث إن وضعها يجعل شكل الشفاه يميل إلي الجفاف.

وربما لا يحتوي أحمر الشفاه غير اللامع على مرطب بداخله ولكن يمكنك إضافة ما يكفي من المرطب قبل وبعد وضعه لتحصلي علي مظهر شفاه غير لامع رائع.

قبل وضع أي أحمر شفاه غير لامع، إبدأي بمقشر جيد لتقشري وتصنفري شفتيك، حتي تكون شفتيك ناعمة وملساء قبل العمل عليها، استخدمي أصابعك وضعي كمية بحجم البازلاء من المقشر الخاص بالشفاه وحركيه بشكل دائري علي شفتيك، لتزيلي الجلد الزائد والجاف.

My Foundation Routine!

Hey all,

Today, I will be talking about my foundation routine and how I apply every face product. I don't apply makeup everyday only occasionally and if I am going to university. It's been a while after my summer vacation where I am only applying makeup twice a week. Now, let me tell you, I am actually happy! That's because my skin actually became better! It's not breaking out a lot like back in summer time when I applied almost makeup daily and for 18 hrs., but, honestly, I committed a huge mistake and that was; not cleaning my brushes! I know, I know.. This is very WRONG!!! Do Not Do It Please!!

Lipstick Addict: The newest purchase!

By now, I think you know that I love lipsticks so much that I love collecting all colors and shades. This obsession started three years ago and maybe more but that's when I started collecting lipsticks as a hobby!! It might sound strange and crazy to you but I am sure there are a lot like me in this world with even stranger hobbies.
I purchased the three high-end lipsticks from the duty free in Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and they were much cheaper than in Sephora which encouraged me to buy them. The fourth lipstick is from Amman and it's drugstore. The reason I got it was that it's cheaper than Paris and I love this lipstick!

From now on, I will start new series on my blog where I will compare two products that are very similar and can be considered as dupes. I will be focusing on trying two products, one is from the high-end makeup and the other one as a drugstore makeup.

Today, I will compare two similar products (blushes) that I consider almost the same especially when applied on the apples of the cheeks. These two products, as shown above from the title's name, are NARS Orgasm and L'Oreal Accord Perfect 165 Rosy Cheeks.

My all time favorite is the NARS Orgasm blush and it's always a choice for me when I apply makeup. I use it almost on daily basis and I just love it so much. But, when I found out that I already have something very similar in my makeup collection and I compared them together, I was amazed how similar they are. Honestly, I still prefer the NARS blush but if you are searching for one that's less pricey and almost identical then you're in the right place. Below, I will compare both of them:

Makeup bag for a weekend's/short trip

Today we will be talking about the beauty essentials you require to take for weekend's trip. It's important to pack lightly but with the sufficient products that you need. These are some of the products that I took with me when I had a trip two days ago and it was for two night. 

These products can benefit you and reach your needs and requirements for the weekend trip or any other short trip you might have. The makeup products can be used day and night and can creat nice looks with them. It's preferable that you take  travel size products so its lighter in weight and smaller to be fitted anywhere in your travel bag or hand bag.
