Hey All,
I would like to wish you a late Merry Christmas and an early Happy New Year! I hope that you enjoyed your Christmas with the ones you love and had fun..
I will be talking about my December Favorites although I don't have many but some of those products are not only this month's favorites but all year round favorites: (By the way, do you like my glittery wrapping paper as the background for my December Favorites? (: )
1. Christian Dior 'Creme de Rose' Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm: Review
2. Ducray 'Ictyane' hand cream for chapped dry hands: I told you in my previous post that I hate hand creams and can't stand them on my hands for a long time.. Well, after that post my hands became very dried because I started using a lot soap and wash my hands way more that I do usually despite my obsession with washing hands! The reason behind this was that my mom gave birth 21 days ago to our baby brother which I call a squirrel because he is super duper tiny!! hahaha I LOVE HIM!! Back to our subject, I went to a pharmacy looking for a good hand cream and I saw this one, I tried it and I felt that it's light weight and sinks into your skin very quickly which is something I look for in a hand cream. The only down side of it is that it has a strong smell of perfume which I don't really like especially before bedtime..
3. Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow in Taupe 4: I use this for my eyebrows and I love it. It's neither dark nor light, the color is milk chocolate and blends really well with my eyebrows. It lasts a good amount of time and it's blend-able if you want to apply it on as an eye shadow.
4. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils: which I was hesitating to try for the longest time but when I saw this mini kit in Sephora which consists of mini eye pencils, I wanted to give them a try. The kit came with three different shades: Zero (black), Demolition (Coffee Brown), Rockstar (Aubergine/Purple). I love them so much, they didn't crease on my eyes as winged liner and on my waterline, they are very long lasting as they claim and they are rich in Vit. E and Jojoba Oil.. Love them!!
5. Sephora 'Lip Attitude' in Glamour G17: they are similar to the Revlon Lip Butters but are not as nourishing and smooth as them. The main reason I like it is because of the color, it's beige mauve color and really fits my complexion. I love warm colors and this just slightly gives me more pigmentation to my lip color and it's very natural looking.
6. Yves Saint Laurent 'Rouge Volupte' no.3: I love this lipstick and have them in another four shades but recently I liked this mauve color one because it's not too dark and not too light as well as the creamy texture that it has which I am enjoying recently. I made some reviews on another YSL lipstick before in previous posts.
7. Estee Lauder lip gloss in Magnificent Mauve: it came in a holiday kit a long with many other make up products which are equally lovely but this one, I am using it almost every time I go out from the house. It's smooth and not sticky, it's a little bit shimmery but not too much, the color is mauve which I am liking this month and it stays on for a quiet a good amount of time of about an hour and a half if you don't drink and eat during this period which is good for a lip gloss.
I hope you liked my December Favorites and my Mini Review! Let me know what are your favorites for this month?!
Love xoxo,
Maha
