Hey all,
Who doesn't love lipsticks or any lip product? They are my favorite to pick when I am beauty shopping. I love every single lip product I have and can't go out without putting anything on my lips even if it was a lip balm! Today, I am so excited to share with you this post because it's fun and colorful although my lips got dry from swatching all these 10 lipsticks so, let's begin:
1. My favorite nudes:
- Top: Revlon colorburst in Blush 035 (the right nude for my complexion, I am NC 30 in MAC face products, it has cool pink undertones with a slight pearl finish. It has been one of my top favorites for the last three years.)
- Bottom: YSL rouge volupte in [30] (nude peach, kind of washes the lips if you have my complexion but with the right lip liner and gloss, it is gorgeous. Three summers ago, I wore it constantly. It is creamy and buttery on the lips. In general, I love the rouge volupte range unless it's not a bold dark color.)
3. Corals:
- Top: Rimmel lasting finish by Kate {red packaging} in 109 (true coral with a matte finish, it does what it claims and lasts for a long time. I love matte formulas because of its longevity and pigmentation. Can't go wrong with a true coral shade!)
- Bottom: Revlon super lustrous in Kiss Me Coral 750 (I feel that it is more orange than coral and it does make your teeth look yellow but the formula over all is very lovely, smooth and gentle on the lips. In general, I love all Revlon lipsticks.)
4. Hot pinks/ Fuchsia:
- Top: Rimmel lasting finish by Kate {black packaging} in 20 (another favorite but from last summer, same thing, its lasting power is great and the color makes your teeth white and your face live and awake.)
- Bottom: MAC cremesheen in Lickable (first of all, I love how the MAC lipsticks smell like vanilla and has a nice flavor, it may sound awkward but it does! Cremesheen formula is my least favorite from all the MAC formulas because they're not very pigmented but this color is daring and very fuchsia. I think it would suit all skin tones and again, makes your teeth whiter because of the blue undertone.)
5. Neutral Nude VS. Daring Shades:
- Top: YSL rouge pur couture golden lustre in 109 (sheer peach coral in the tube but on the lips, it's more pink coral. It's sheer with some sheen/lustre in it but very natural looking. It doesn't last long time on the lips because of its formula and sheerness yet, it is beautiful and perfect for the sheer lovers!)
- Bottom: Make Up For Ever rouge artist intense in 15 (it is very daring and bold. It doesn't match all skin tones and rarly you can pull it off in the right way. It has strong shimmer and glittery finish. Very pigmented and the most drying 'dry' formula because of the glitter and shimmer. I personally like it and would wear it but I would prefer to sheer it out for a more sophisticated look.)
My Question:
Which one are you, daring or a neutral type a girl??!
Love xoxo,
Maha

2. Blue toned pinks:
- Top: Make Up For Ever rouge artist natural in N34 (very natural sheer coral pink shade that will make your teeth whiter and your lips better.)
- Bottom: MAC amplified in Saint Germain (everyone raves about this blue toned pink color that looks almost pink white on me. It's a daring color that is only for the brave girls. Matches fair skin tones or very dark skin tones to stand out. Not always my cup of tea but I still love it.)
